Mohamed Salah Offers Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the team following the controversy from his recent interview.
The Incident
The striker was dropped from a European match subsequent to voicing frustrations and stating his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has previously declined to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the player.

The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
He also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. “I understand there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the period after the situation. The player is convinced the outburst were not designed to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and on a positive run.”
